Spectacular panoramic sea views from this lovely village located only six kilometres north of Paphos town. No traffic noise and no pollution to deal with here. Armou Village sits at an average elevation of 257 metres above sea level which provides it with refreshing breezes all the year around. A calming atmosphere and lush flora surround Armou yet it is only a seven-minute drive into the hustle and bustle of Paphos centre where all amenities are to be found i.e.supermarkets, cinemas, bowling, restaurants, gyms, clothing stores, medical clinics, hospital, dentists, schools, etc. A fifteen minute drive will get you to the beach, twenty minutes to Paphos airport and an hour-and-a-half to Larnaca Airport. There are several tavernas in the area to choose from including those in the neighbouring villages of Marathounta and Konia and, of course, there is the traditional coffee shop. There are three very good golf courses within a thirty minute drive of Armou and for those who are even more athletically inclined skiing is generally possible in January, February and March at Mount Olympus in the Troodos Mountains, which is less than two hours away, and various water sports are available at many of the beaches surrounding Paphos. Two English language schools teaching pre-school to year 13 are within a 15-minute drive of the village. A bus runs several times daily into Paphos from Armou’s main square. Armou Village is for those who would like a quiet, semi-rural environment yet do not want to be too far removed from town life.
